Taboga Island – Only 30 minutes Hawai from Panama, you find Taboga Island. The different species available in this area are seabass, snook, snapper, jack trevally, mackerel and roosterfish. In this area there is fishing year round.
Otoque – Otoque is one of three islands (Boná and Estibá) found an hour away from Panama. Around these rocks you can find mackerel, snook, seabass, snapper, grouper and amberjack. In Otoque there is fishing available year round. Only a few minutes away from Otoque, you find 20 Fathom.
20 Fathom – Only an hour away from Panama, this is the closest place from Panama to practice off-shore fishing. Available species in this area are sailfish, mahi-mahi, yellowfin tuna and wahoo. The best months for fishing in this area are from May to October.
Peral Islands – An hour and 30 minutes from Panama, you find the World-famous Pearl Islands. Here there is great fishing throughout the year. Available species include sailfish, mahi-mahi, wahoo, yellowfin tuna, snapper, amberjack, jack trevally, mackerel, grouper, roosterfish, among others. There are distinct species available in short distances from one place to another. The views are beautiful and if you want to refresh yourself, there are wonderful beaches all around.
